The Tremont House presents its 27th Annual Mardi Gras Parade Viewing Party celebrating "The Enchantment of India" on Saturday, March 5, 2011. Join party guests in paying tribute to a 5,000 year-old civilization with ancient cultures and rich heritage. Our intricately decorated "palaces" and Bollywood dancers will provide a festive backdrop to this year's colorful celebration. This year's ball features entertainment by Houston's favorite dance band, Eclipse; New Orleans' own Dr. Michael White Jazz Quartet; DJ Yogi-G, as well as Indian cultural dancers and drummers. Lavish Indian themed buffet. Open Bar. Prime viewing of the Momus Grand Night Parade in a gated area exclusive to ball guests. Tickets: $200/person. Attire: Theme costume or black tie.
